We woke up to frozen branches...
frozen cars...
frozen lamp posts...
and frozen mailboxes...which could only mean that...
we had time for reading in bed...
drinking hot chocolate...
snow watching...
peeling pears...
and baking tarts. Not too shabby for an otherwise dull Monday. Not too bad at all.

Hmmm....that looks delicious! Can't wait to taste it (I assume this'll be for this Saturday, right? Or maybe it's just a test run?
Didn't get to make the pecans yesterday because I only had half the amount I needed. And since I couldn't drive to the store I'll just end up making them this week. No problem. I've enjoyed some lazy times this weekend (and today) and have gotten some sewing done. PLUS!
